Licensed!
Ah yes. Just as one child is learning how to roll over, the other has been given the right to drive a three thousand pound piece of metal sixty-five miles per hour down the 10 freeway. That’s right, on Friday afternoon, Zoe passed her behind-the-wheel driving test on her first try.
As Tom Pepper said, “Well, you did the best you could. It’s out of your hands now.”
Congrats, Zoe.

Scary, but all a part of life. Whenever I have driven with her, she seems to have the right amount of fear. She always told me I drove too slow and you drove too fast and she would be somewhere in the middle. Sounds good to me!

We saw her just after she dropped you off from getting her license, but we were confused about who’d be yelling at us about just getting a license at work, and couldn’t see it was her from down the street. Makes sense now. Congrats, Zoe!
