What a great post. I hope you don’t mind Ian but I’ve made a note to self to write a similar opus as the last post I do for my Juggernaut Brew blog. When that moment comes.

And I just went back into the shed on a frantic search for Brendon Benson’s Lapalco. Played it end-to-end yesterday. It really does have its moments. And my first real introduction to music came through Kiss as well, via my best friend & neighbour’s big brother Steve Jub. Who’s room was wall to wall Bruce Lee, Kiss and other scary stuff.

Ian, such a great interesting read. I can completely relate to the joy of spending a day record hunting in small indie stores. I loved the record conventions too. Where there was always some creepy old man there selling you bootleg VHS concert footage and chEap concert posters and shirts.
Great times. I loved them all. I got crazy into it with Bowie and the ryko rereleases durring college. Cheers to another collector!
